What Your Child/ren Needs to Bring Every Sunday
  • Water bottle

  • BBCNC Rash shirt (No Rashie = No Nippers)

  • Swimmers/wetsuits and towel

  • Nipper cap

  • Sunscreen (applied)

  • Beach shoes/thongs (optional)

Parents/Carers/Nipper's Role
  • Parents and carers have an essential role in delivering and supporting Nippers activities for their own and other children. Nippers are to line up at 9:45, ready to start at 10 am.

  • Nippers must line up in front of their Age Group sign on the large grass area. All Age Groups must return to this area to be signed off at the end of nippers (Your child cannot be signed-off on the beach).

  • Parents/carers are to sign in and sign out their child/ren on the group attendance list held by Age Manager. If you need to leave early, please notify the age manager and sign out your child/ren.

  • Parents/carers are required to stay near the group at all times and are encouraged to assist when needed. Parents/carers are responsible for taking their children to the toilet.

  • Children participate in Nippers for their enjoyment and development. Encourage children to participate, do not force them. Focus on the child's efforts and set realistic goals.

  • Encourage children to always play by the rules.

  • Show appreciation for our Age Managers. Water Safety Personnel, First Aid Team and Committee members are volunteers. Without them, your child could not participate in Nippers.

  • Volunteer your services and talents to assist the club when possible.

  • Treat all participants as you would like to be treated.

  • Be a good sport. Applaud all good performances and efforts.

  • Respect the equipment that is provided and assist in setting up and packing up at each session.
